295_513577923996_8228_nI’m Meg, a graphic designer and the guy next to me in my photo is my fiancé Adam, who’s in finance. We bought our 100-year old house in the Boston area in June 2010 and are taking on the task of doing all the renovations ourselves (as much as we can), while keeping the integrity of the home intact and trying to be as green as possible. We’re young, fun and have no idea what we’ve gotten ourselves into, but look forward to the adventure!

  1. You realize we lead parallel lives, right? I’m an art director / designer, and our renovation project is 130 years old. Good times! And good luck on your house-fixing adventure =)

  2. Thanks so much for following me. I am truely impressed with what you have taken on. I once lived in a warehouse in Baltimore while renovating. It was a 10,000 sqft. blank slate and took nearly a year before there were even rooms and doors. Building something from nothing is an experience that few people dare to try; restoring something that is lost to time is equally as defining. I hope that all of your work builds you into an architect of life mastery. Can’t wait to see your house come to life.

  3. Thanks for the follow! It ‘s so nice to “meet” other crazy people doing the DIY thing 😮
